Tabbed Browser

gBrowser displays and manages the contents of a window’s tabs. Older code and documentation often call it <xul:tabbrowser>, after the DOM element that used to fill this role. That element no longer exists, but the name is still used synonymously with gBrowser, so you will meet it.
